Lower Monumental Dam: Monolith 15 Wall Repair

Demo and replacement of a section of the Monolith 15 face during a tight immovable winter work window.

Project Details

A challenging project which was awarded in November, 2010 and had to be completed no later than February 13, 2011. Sitting atop Lower Monumental Dam, MJK and its team lowered the necessary equipment down into the bottom of Monolith 15. From there, a section of the face was demolished and replaced. The contract was incredibly time sensitive. MJK completed all work by the February deadline, including replacing an optional section of the wall.
